Groundbreaking Ceremony Of FCS New Factory In Hangzhou Bay New Dist

FCS Group held the "New Plant Groundbreaking Ceremony" in Hangzhou Bay New District, on Sep 19, 2020. This is FCS Group's 5th production base worldwide for injection molding machines after the Indian plant. The plant has a total investment of USD 40 million and occupies a total area of about 66690 m2. The new plant is expected to greatly enhance the R&D and production capabilities of FCS Group, as well as the core competitiveness among the industry, which is a new milestone in the development history of the group.

Finally, with the music, sound of firecrackers, and enthusiastic applause on the spot, the guests raised the golden shovels and laid the foundation stone for the FCS Group's new plant project, symbolizing the construction of the project in Hangzhou Bay New District.

The Introduction of FCS New plant Project

FCS Group was established in 1974 in Tainan, Taiwan. It is currently the largest plastic injection molding machine manufacturer in Taiwan, and the 1st and only publicly listed company in Taiwan’s injection machine industry. FCS Group has been rated as one of the Top 10 enterprises in China's injection molding machine industry for years.

FCS group covers an area of 240,000 square meters, has 900 employees, total assets of RMB 1.28 billion, and annual revenue of approximately RMB 770 million. There are about 40 overseas agents around the world, selling machines to more than 70 countries.

With the expansion of the group's business, in addition to the Taiwan headquarters, FCS has successively established 4 injection machine production bases in Dongguan (1994), Ningbo Jiangbei (2001), India (2019), and Ningbo Hangzhou Bay (2019) .

FCS new factory has a total investment of USD 40 million. The factory is located in Hangzhou Bay New District, Ningbo, with Yuhai East Road in the south, Qiyuan Road in the west, Cizhou Road in the north, and the planned land boundary in the east, covering an area of 66,690 square meters, with a total construction area of 97,792 square meters. It is planned to be a production base with an annual output of 2,000 special injection machines. It will mainly produce large two-platen injection molding machines with a clamping force of more than 500 tons, large two-color injection molding machines, and large horizontal opposite injection molding machines. The annual output value is estimated to be RMB 600 million, and the annual tax is about RMB 30 million.

This construction will start in September 2020, and is expected to complete the main body in March 2022, and will be officially put into production in January 2023.
